Features

A disk analyzer that tells you what to do about it

Most tools show you a pretty chart and wish you luck. DiskScope shows you the chart and hands you a reviewed, safety-graded cleanup plan.

Scans that don't make coffee breaks

Millions of files indexed in a couple of minutes, with a live leaderboard of the biggest folders and files racing to the top while it runs.

🧹

Clean it up, graded by safety

Caches, build artifacts, forgotten installers, ancient iPhone backups, files untouched for months — found automatically and labeled Safe, Re-downloadable, or Check first.

🗺️

A map that stays readable

Big, calm tiles colored by what you should do — not fifty shades of confetti. Click to dive in; DiskScope skips the boring single-folder levels for you.

🌳

A tree for power users

WinDirStat-style expandable list, biggest-first, with share-of-drive bars at every level. Stage anything into the cleanup basket right from the row.

🛡️

Guard rails you can't turn off

System paths are hard-blocked from cleanup. Files go to the macOS Trash, never straight to deletion. Cloud placeholders are never hydrated.

🔢

Numbers that match Finder

DiskScope reads the same volume stats Finder does and reports in the same units. When we say 350.8 GB used, About This Mac agrees.

FAQ

Fair questions

Is it actually safe? I've been burned by "cleaner" apps.

So have we — that's why DiskScope is built backwards from safety. Scans are read-only and metadata-only (your files are never opened). Cleanup is review-first: nothing moves until you've seen the exact paths and confirmed. And "moves" means the macOS Trash, not deletion — everything is recoverable until you empty it. System directories are hard-blocked and can't be staged at all.

Is this a subscription?

No. $19.99 once, yours forever, including all 1.x updates. The license is an offline key — no account, no activation server pings, works on a Mac that never touches the internet.

How is this different from DaisyDisk?

DaisyDisk shows you a beautiful chart and leaves the judgment to you. DiskScope adds the judgment: it automatically finds caches, build artifacts, forgotten installers and old device backups, grades each one by safety, and gives you a one-click review flow to reclaim the space. Chart plus verdict, not just chart.

What do I get in the free trial?

One complete scan of any drive or folder with the full interface — map, list, cleanup suggestions, everything. Enough to see exactly what DiskScope would reclaim on your Mac before you spend a dollar.

I lost my license key — now what?

Go to the DiskScope license page, enter the Lemon Squeezy Order # from your receipt, and copy your key. That page can regenerate the same key any time. If you're stuck, email hello@diskscope.app from the address you bought with.

Refunds and support?

Because the free trial includes one complete scan before purchase and license keys work offline, sales are final except for duplicate orders, payment-provider issues, or obvious mistakes. Support is a real inbox: hello@diskscope.app — replies from the people who build the app.
